Poet Paul Nelson stops by to read a few poems and talk about his organization SPLAB. We also discuss how reading poems to his daughter got him interested in poetry, his work in the Seattle poetry community and the time he interviewed Allen Ginsberg.

Paul Nelson is founder of SPLAB in Seattle and the Cascadia Poetry Festival. He wrote a collection of essays, Organic Poetry & a serial poem re-enacting the history of Auburn, WA, A Time Before Slaughter (shortlisted for a 2010 Genius Award by The Stranger.)
